As part of an On-Call contract with Baltimore County, Mimar Architects & Engineers, Inc. (Mimar), as subconsultant, is providing mechanical, electrical & plumbing engineering for renovations to the Baltimore County Office of Budget and Finance Baltimore County Historic Courthouse in Towson, Maryland.
This project includes renovations and space planning of the 11,000 SF Customer Service and Purchasing, and 800 SF Benefits Divisions Offices located on the First Floor, Break Area, and the Elevator Lobby of the Baltimore County Historic Courthouse at 400 Washington Avenue, Towson, Maryland.
The Purchasing Office will include (1) one Conference Room that can be divided in half, utilizing an operable partition, to accommodate 12 - 24 persons with an adjacent Visitor Waiting Area inside the main Purchasing entrance to accommodate bidding and contractor meetings. Renovations to the Benefits Office in the First Floor East Wing include reconfiguration of (5) five workspaces, (2) as Private Offices, the others as Cubicles.
Mimar is providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, including a new lighting layout with Baltimore County standard fixtures as well as coordination related to possible relocation of fan coil units. The First Floor West Wing renovations for the Customer Service and Purchasing Offices will include new LED lighting, and ceiling fans with new ceiling supply/return registers, and new floor/wall-mounted equipment to accommodate the new design.
Scope of services includes Interior Field Survey/Confirmation to create Existing Conditions Documentation including locations of all Power/Data outlets, HVAC supply/returns, and Fire/Safety Equipment, complete Schematic Design through Design Development plans, and construction documents.
