Baltimore City - Construction Administration Services for Greyhound Bus Terminal, Baltimore, MD

As a consultant to prime, STV Inc. (STV), Mimar Architects & Engineers, Inc. (MIMAR) provided professional services to the City of Baltimore, Department of Transportation, and Greyhound. The 9,516 sf, terminal provides affordable transportation to the city of Baltimore with 10 bus bays, covered loading areas, and amenities such as free wi-fi. The construction administration services included:

•                     The filing of minutes of progress meetings

•         Response to Requests for Information (RFI) from Contractor and proper documentation of related email correspondence

•                     Filing of all RFI’s and submittals

•         The distribution and review of submittals from Contractor for timely return to contractor and DOT

•                     Regular attendance at progress meetings (13 held)

•                     Regularly assess the status and progress of project construction

•         Attend and perform inspection walk-throughs verifying against the established punchlist project included a 1000 SF wood shed junk storage building, a salt dome (at the permanent facility) and a security shed, trash containers and parking and vehicle storage. Design of the permanent facility included LEED silver standards.
